I used to own a spiny mouse! OMG she was so cute! What I found neat was that they didn't smell like regular mice would. Mine wasn't very active in her cage and I'm not sure if it's cus her wheel was designed for a hamster and she just wasn't heavy enough or what. But I'd take her out and have her run around my room or in a large box where she'd be safe from our cats.

Anyway mine was a deer never biting but would at times lick me. I miss mine but would tell others how wonderful they can be as pets compared to the regulars. :D
