Iknow he’s got some wolf DNA inside of him but I think a giant humanoid robot with eagle wings hanging off of him is pushing official Kennel Match regulations a *bit* too far!


That’s right, I’m posting two Kennel Match pieces back-to-back in less than a week! Now don’t tell me that I never do anything for you guys. As you can see, someone reached out to me on Discord and said “How about using Silverbolt from Beast Wars for your project?”. Now on the subject of Transformers, I have some exposure to the franchise. I didn’t grow up with the 80s cartoon and instead, old reruns of Beast Wars was my first introduction to the franchise. I rewatched the series recently and Beast Wars has honestly aged surprisingly well, outdated CGI notwithstanding. It has an interesting premise, some great quotes and a cast of really entertaining characters including good ol’ Silverbolt here! To quote his voice actor, he’s a weird wolf/eagle combination who can be best described as “strong, proud, brave and as smart as a sack of hammers.”


Art was done by   bluestarryartist and may I just say that they did an incredible job on this? Drawing robotic humanoids is difficult enough, but add wings into the mix? It makes the final product even more impressive! Anyways, go pay them money to draw more injured dobermans.
