Embers of Dawn: Chapter 11: Drinks, Dragons and Disasters

So, since Sofurry isnt going to be online for a few months, for those that might have missed me posting it there.
This story takes place ten years after the climax of Scales and Honor: Bahamut's Light. (Books 4+ are in first draft state.)
It follows Axton and a gold Dragon named Nelneras as they navigate their lives. It's more focused on slice of life and world building, as Axton struggles with not feeling like hes living up to his potential. Nelneras on the meanwhile is trying to build a place where non dragons and dragons can live more as equals, instead of his kind lording it over them. (After all, he has seen where it was possible, he was raised by human farmers!)
