Sometimes they get to enjoy their retirement, This E-One was bought by a camp ground in a community that neighbors the department that originally purchased it. It gets to act as a gate guard and take kids for trips around camp ground. I'll also admit that this truck in particular has some special meanuing to me.

We had a Pierce, somewhat anemic Cat 3208 225hp but it did a fine job. Ours had the far superior top mount pump, was great on chilly winter fires, almost never froze the pump panel. Miss the truck, don't miss the under-rated brakes and no Jake :) Rust on that cab extension, had to keep a close eye on that. We had the Dayton wheels vs the Budds on that one.
