Hey everyone, I wanted to show you guys my first attempt at making an oven baked delight that I adore. It's a nice filet of Red Salmon that I baked the way my Mom cooks it from time to time.
Recipe~
1 3-4 lb. Salmon filet, deboned
1 1/2 tsp. Bristol Bay Seafood Seasoning
2 tbsp. Mayonnaise
1 tsp. Soy Sauce
Green Onion (optional)
Step One: Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Step Two: Debone your Salmon filet before applying your seasonings in this order; Bristol Bay Seafood Seasoning (or your preferred choice of seasoning), Mayonnaise, generously spread across the whole filet, Soy Sauce on top of that, and the optional Green Onion.
Step Three: Bake your salmon in the oven for roughly 30-40 minutes, or until you are able to smell the fish.
Step Four: Remove the salmon from the oven and let it cool for about five minutes before serving it with a side of rice and choice vegetables.
And enjoy. ♡♡♡
From Chris: A few things to mention with salmon: ~ Before cooking, to find the bones / pins in a salmon, use your fingers and press against the salmon. You should see them pop up easily enough, and all you need is a clean pair of needlenose pliers or just pull the bone out as firmly as you can.
~ This recipe is also very flexible in the sense that - IF there are any leftovers (which I would find doubtful as I would devour this) you can use the rest in a salad, or part of a salmon "don" with rice, or in a sandwich...theres many other ways.
