Comm - Some Assembly Required (Bohrok TF)
This past weekend marked Bionicle Day (8/10 - get it? 810nicle? Like Bionicle? GET IT?) and - as anyone who knows me could tell you - it's a series I'm a big fan of. While I was unable to share anything on the day of, this TFTuesday is still an excellent chance to post this comm by the highly talented MKIIIConvertible!
This go around, my character's excitement to crack open a hot one with the boys (in this case, the Bohrok Tahnok) turns into dismay when he, instead, turns into the toy himself! Shrinking down to scale, I suppose this is one way of replacing any parts that might have been missing - but really, this one's on him for not checking more closely if everything was already included...
I really love the detail showing the cannister growing bigger with each stage - and if you look closely, you'll notice some personalized coloring in the final figurine! Hopefully a factory error like that makes this variant worth some big bucks on the secondhand market! Either way, I'm sure it'll make some collector very happy.
