Vinesians are a race of sapient reptilians that bear mammalian features and have the ability to use psychic powers by utilizing mental energy similar to how humanoids use physical energy to conduct tasks. They are a highly social and hedonistic alien species that form sophisticated constructs, including culture, politics, economics, and science. Their influence has not only expanded across their world, llathok, but other worlds as well via colonialism and is still expanding to this day due to their hyper-capitalist nature. While Vinesians are extremely dangerous, they prefer diplomatic relations over violence, usually through divide and conquer tactics as a way to mitigate loss of resources. A small population of this species lives on the outskirts of the llathok Federation as a way to oppose the neo-liberal regime.
