And also; I realize this may sound a bit selfish, but if you choose to go to the artist's page to check out the rest of his or her art, please do not ruin the excitement I feel when showing off these pictures here on my page for the first time, by mentioning certain other pictures I may have also commissioned already and are posted there, but not yet posted here! I mean it! I wasn't even planning on posting this one yet.
Is it so wrong that I like to get first-time reactions to everything I post here, despite the credit I give to the artist? For someone to say, "Oh, I saw this already." just makes me feel bad. It's bad enough that I am incapable of drawing. And while I'm sure I have the option of asking the artist I commission to not post the picture on his page right away, I would feel somewhat guilty asking this of him. Just so you know though, many artists really don't mind honoring such a request. In fact, a recent commissioner of one of my stories explicitly asked me not to post the story I made for him; a request I am fine with honoring. So I know how it is...
My point is this. If you happened to have seen a picture I posted previously elsewhere, please keep that fact to yourself when you comment on it here. I tend to wait for random lengths of time, usually spanning weeks, before I finally post a picture I had received a while back. I also do this because I don't want to run out of pictures to post. I would appreciate it if you could respect that.
