Ruby and her older sister both have had a long and busy summer, with really no time to spend together. However, a special weekend presents itself allowing some free time for Ruby and Lapis to finally have a day together. Cooling off at the luxury pool sounds like a great idea right now.
Ruby Heart dives into the water. Full of energy, she gracefully swims below the surface in beautiful form and speed. The whole process was quite a workout, so she ascends to the surface to catch her breath. She hoists herself through the center of the inflatable donut as she emerges, and holds on while she rests.
Moonbeam Lapis makes her way through the water toward her younger sister. She wanted to talk to Ruby about her concern for the upcoming "big plans" their company has made for next spring. Before she could mutter a word, her eye caught a glimpse of something. A motion.
Ruby Heart was still breathing a little heavy, but she didn't make any sudden movements as she rested there for a moment longer, wondering why her sister was oddly staring at her.
It wasn't long before Lapis noticed the motion again. At the center of Ruby's chest, between her breasts...

Indeed, that's what she thought it was... Ruby's Heartbeat!
It was beating gracefully and fast, just like the loving younger sister it belongs to.

"Lapis, please. This day was special for us to spend time together. Let your mind rest for once. We can talk about it later this evening over some sushi. Sound good?"
