For his next challenge, the thundering lion has to face the warrior Kuka in a No Holds Barred Match.
Kuka is an ancient Polynesian warrior, condemned to hell for many violent acts. He also has a short fuse and a big temper. But Laios is descended from noble warriors who serve the great spirits of storm; he would never fear a warrior from hell. And since it's a No Holds Barred Match, it means both wrestlers can use his powers.
The warriors enter the ring and stare each other down, no movement on either side, but anyone in the arena you could feel their intensity taking over the place. The referee gives the signal, and the match begins.
The hell warrior quickly closed the distance between himself and the thundering and launched a series of punches, which surprised the feline, as the blows were not only powerful but also fast. The first jabs destabilized Laios's stance, pushing him to the corner of the ring, where Kuka cornered him and landed a knee strike straight to the stomach. Not wanting to give his opponent time to breathe, the blows continued relentlessly. And with each blow, the lion felt burns forming on his body; even as he parried the blows, the temperature continued to rise, and the reptile's hair seemed to be glowing brighter, like a living flame. Still, the thunder warrior is undeterred; he grabs one of the reptile's arms and, ignoring the pain in his hand, turns its body while raising its leg and sends a direct kick in the navel area, then counterattacks his opponent with a series of combined blows.
Noticing that the flames keep growing as much as Kuka's rage, Laios concludes that he will have trouble if this match lasts too long. Planning to take advantage of the opponent's anger, the lion purposely lets his guard down, waiting for his opponent to fall for his feint.
Seeing an opening, Kuka concentrates heat in one of his arms and lunges at Laios, ready to strike him down with a powerful fire punch, which he dodges at the last moment.
From behind him, the lion reached one arm between Kuka's legs and placed the other hand on his shoulder. Kuka was aware of what would come next, but before he could do anything, he was lifted. With a grunt of exertion, Laios brought the reptile onto his shoulders, shifted the hand on the reptile's shoulder to his neck, and began pulling down in a brutal torture rack.
The pain was unbearable on both ends. On one side, Laios had to endure the pain of the burns on his shoulders and arms, which were in contact with his opponent's skin. And on the other side, Kuka was screaming because his back was being stretched downwards in an arc. But the thundering lion's attack wasn't over yet. With a silent prayer, electricity began to run through the lion's body, his eyes and his mark glowing blue. And then, a massive discharge ripped through the infernal warrior's entire body, making Kuka scream even louder, until he finally passed out and his body went limp.
Sensing his opponent was done and the heat subsiding, Laios released him from the hold. Knocked out onto the mat, and without the flames, the hell warrior's body heat subsided, and his hair, which had previously shone so brightly, was back to its pre-match sheen. Ready for the immobilization, Laios didn't want to risk further burns, so he simply placed his foot on his opponent's chest. The referee counted three, giving the Thundering Lion the victory.
