Once but a simple synthetic consciousness derived from one of the earliest mind scans in the pre-space times, now its own person boasting two unique primary shells.
It is capable of adapting to any electronic system, similar to your average crewmate learning a task, if a little more efficient. Hence, its designation, Spectral Artificial Tactician (SP-A.T). The first part of that symbolizing its adaptability to utilize any system, though its SPECTRE protocols hold many more secrets than only this. The Tactician part comes from its time utilized in a military outpost as their own version of an AI, given access to their command board, planning, and even sent on scouting runs with its two handlers; its main duties were to assist all with actively planning routes for escape and attack.
That is a past long gone, however. As it was sent out in a long-range cargo shuttle following being set to hibernation. It does not know how much time has passed, or how far through space it traversed, only that it found itself crawling out of the wreck of that same shuttle on what was eventually told to it to be the plains of Sif. Explorers working aboard the NLS Southern Cross came upon it, were able to retrieve it, and with assistance from one of the roboticists it was given a spare, small shell resembling a feline.
It has come a ways from this, too. Learning how to navigate socialization and its nuances, making friends of its own, and most importantly- being taught, and accepting, that it too is a person.
