Im putting this under 'wolf' HOWEVER after a lot of reading and careful consideration I have come to the conclusion ( and if you disagree thats okay) That Suicune although named a 'legendary dog' on Pokemon has been described by Pokemon related peeps to be a hybrid mixture of Kirin, leopard/cheetah and deer. Going by all this I decided to take the base anatomy of a Maned Wolf (was deciding that or a greyhound) as they are very slender in anatomy with thin legs, looking at first glance of Suicunes design to me he personally looks canine. I then shortened his muzzle to be a bit more feline/deer and made his back paws appear more deerish too. Will fix up areas like actually draw in the paws etc then ink and colour once it looks a bit more badassery. :D
