A bit late, but I have another creature upload… this one is… I had 2 versions of it in the backlog for over a year. And I made a second version of it in the meantime. So much trouble for a rodent, sheesh…

The Navian Scrub Squirrel is a rodent of... very usual size, that lives in the scrub lands of Navia. Aside from the occasional egg or invertebrate, its diet consists primarily of seeds. Mostly seeds belonging to the weird, tree-like plants that grow all over Navia. These provide ample nourishment for many creatures living on the continent, but none rely on it as much as these squirrels.

In leaner times, when there are very few seeds to go around, Scrub Squirrel populations plummet and they are rarely ever seen. This in turn causes massive die offs in small predator populations as they in turn are reliant on a healthy squirrel population to sustain themselves.
