I was thinking about the same thing while drawing this. I've yet to figure out a reasonable explanation... :\

I remember in an episode of Pokémon where they had a race and Ash had to ride a Ponyta that they said the fire won't burn people (and i imagine things, too) she liked (didn't dislike).

I've looked at both your ponyta peicea and they are just mind blowing!!! do you use any special brushes or programs??

nothing special, just the brush tool in sai (the one for blending and stuff) and apply different combos of brush shapes and brush textures. I also use the blur tool in sai sometimes. When I use photoshop - which is rare because it lags on my computer - I use brushes pretty randomly and experimentally because I am not too familiar with the program and need all the practice and experimentation I can get. I usually stick to the default brush sets provided, and I sometimes use ones from brushpacks I download from websites (deviantart, etc.). I hope that is helpful hahah. maybe I will make a picture that shows how I work someday?
