While the loveable (and sometimes uncanny) world of animatronics bands or shows may have gotten a second wind in the last decade, it has been at the detriment of their charm. The success of animatronic horror meant that many have pushed towards these creations as metal monsters. Some may have taken renewed interest in their more practical uses. But each individual has a long and unique relationship with them. While some see art, and others see horror, it is easy to forget their intent: to be characters.

Within this story, the idea of such shows is following this resurgence, with new technology and skills to create the latest generation of robotic entertainment. Minds of flesh and metal… even if it causes those characters to try to find themselves, or go beyond their programming.
