Speaking of girls in swimsuits at the beach...
I think some friends know by now that NerdyReindeer is one of my favourite artists out there, in a way I find personally really aspirational as an artist. It's simple on a technical level, but distinct and overflowing with personality, and boy is that something I want to embody at some point.
Getting the chance to commission her was definitely an amazing tick off the bucket list, and she promptly delivered with Galina.
It's funny how I drew a Milotic with an Azumarill phone case for ArtFight, and a different artist drew my Azumarill in a Milotic swimsuit with creative freedom. It's such a lovely coincidence.
Look at that lively grin of her. Gosh I love her. I love this piece too.
