Thursday Prompt - One Two and Three, A Poem
This is my twelfth entry into the prompt, and I was very excited to receive the prompt this time, which was to write a poem! No specific subject, just a poetic type of writing.
For this poem, I thought a lot about what I wanted to write about, how I wanted to write it. I then thought about numbers, and I related that to this being my 123rd post. So I decided to go with a bit of a counting scheme, mixed with a nursery rhyme type feel, with lots of different rhyming techniques. So I present this poem, simply titled "One Two and Three", a nursery rhyme inspired lyrical and existential poem. There is twelve stanzas, four lines each, and refrain. I hope you guys like it!
