Standard Day 232, Standard Year 19,866
There's a place for scouts in this universe, and the more resourceful the better. Being a raccoon, I count among the resourceful. Born in the oldest of the now-ancient Tradefleets, Kalton, I grew up in space among the hazards of a shipboard life, and grew enamored of planets as I grew older. Even after visiting one after another after another, they never lost their lustre. The less the population the more it appealed. I think I nearly drooled and fainted to walk some of the Gaian worlds when I was barely fourteen.
So, here I am at twenty-three, a fully accredited, licensed scout, working as a freelancer through the Galactic Maps project's amazing Odysseus branch. I call the small ship above and behind me my home away from the fleets, and walk where most people have never been - pristine garden worlds all over our lovely, amazing, rich galaxy.
I am Maia Angheraan, Raccoon, Scout, and Pathfinder! There's always something new over the horizon! Let's go and see!
