After a good bit of time, finally some new art. Hope it meets expectations.
Some of the best hands I've done with linework alone. So I HAD to promptly crop them for the final image.
I have an uncropped version saved, of course. Which is considerably larger, actually.
I'm rather proud of this piece, at least in the linework and the detail I put on his bandana, other parts I'm less happy with, but I can live with them.
Debating whether or not to do a red shift counterpart for this image.

I'm sorta surprised no one has referenced the "I'm Blue" song yet, but
art_of_furry said what I was going to say how it's "Blue Shift" by
blue-paper.
He looks blue, but he seems happy to me. :3

OOOH. Man, BP, this is teh roxxors. Incredible job fusing together all those different materials. The hands look soft and organic, the clothing looks beautifully loose and folded, the headphones look hard and machinated-- you've put together all these different items so effortlessly with everything looking just right. And on top of that, your insane shading is dazzling. I love your lighting so much. But to top it all off, the abstract color and background applied to what is a very concrete and recognizable image is a very creative fusion of being realistic and dream-like. This is one to be proud of.
Love the tactile feel of the shapes especially within the hands inthe foreshortening. Always enjoying watching you progress, watching you create, you are an inspiration to me! As a growing artist watching a growing artist, and perhaps a future friend! (Cuz I wanna know you!) Love the art!
