"A Relic pulled from the Museum of History's lower Halls, surprisingly undamaged from the bombs or the fire that was ablaze for weeks after the bombs hit in 2077. Looting had taken all the modern weapons the common citizen could or would use for defense in the coming months after the fires had died, and the chaos followed suit after months; however, after events died down and a relative "calm" settled in the city, ghouls would settle into the Museum of History and the lower halls over time, By 2120 with the arrival of Gerik, Setting up shop then upgrading the old relics of guns left behind, Being a gun that was fewer in number, as well its using a very common ammunition in the wasteland, accompanied by a very high durability. Reliable is a good word to use for this revolver. Firing a 10mm bullet, ammo is very commonplace, as well as using parts from two widespread firearms that are found in the wasteland, as well. So, repairs will not be much of a problem for the most basic repair-savvy wasters. But there are only 150 in circulation. Much like the .44 Walker and the Union Revolver, this revolver is a Relic pulled from the Museum of History's lower Halls and converted to a modern revolver for wastelanders to use. Entering the wasteland scene in 2120, costing almost double the price of a .44 walker and well over six times the price of the Union Revolver, this revolver trades power and fire rate for longevity in durability. Those who managed to trade or buy one of the Old Army revolvers would often die before the weapon managed to break.
Being a harder find in the wasteland, the only people to get their hands on one of these revolvers would be wastelanders with much more wealth at their disposal to burn. Meaning Wastelanders who took the weapon would be from settlements outside the DC wasteland, most primarily, would be traveling merchant groups moving to and from the Pit, becoming a mainstay weapon of the faction called the Union, another faction would be the smugglers in Point Lookout, quickly becoming the main buyers of the weapon. By 2122, Gerik would visit Point Lookout to explore. His exodus would last a year before moving on to another place in the wasteland; however, during his time exploring, he would find and upgrade fifty more Old Army Revolvers before leaving Point Lookout. By 2296, the only place to find these revolvers commonly is in Point Lookout. You may find one or two outside of Point Lookout, but the odds are in a museum, given the local historical relevance of the given revolver on display.
