This came from a ridiculous Mutants and Masterminds game I ran. all my players were teen/kid heroes and 
triprat's character was a dragon shape shifter. so we ended up deciding that his parents were one of two things: A fat slob who beat his massive dragon wife, or a massive dragon slob who beat his little human wife.
