Celestia came to a final pose as the music finished. She held it for moment before slowly opening her eyes as she looked at audience her of two. Holding the pose she smile and addressed Princess Twilight and Page Turner.

"So your Highness. You had asked what myself and my sister were doing with our time since we'd abdicated. Well along with me taking up gardening Link myself and Luna have started taking belly dancing lessons." Link She grinned at the Ruler of Equestria. "So what do you think?"

Twilight stared wide-eyed as her mouth opened and closed several times like a fish out of water. Page Turner however gave Celestia an impish grin.

"Oh I think it's a splendid idea Celestia! And let me say you look quite fetching in that outfit. Wouldn't you agree your Highness?"

Still silent and wide-eyed the pale mauve alicorn turned and looked at the unicorn. Her brain still seemed to be processing the current events when Celestia spoke up again.

"Do you really think so Page Turner? I'm very happy to hear that! Because along with my sister we've gotten Princess Cadence to take it up as well, and it was Luna and I's hope that her highness Princess Twilight would be interested in it as well. We're hoping to give performance at the next Summer Sun Celebration, and we thought having the two former rulers of Equestria along with current ruler of the kingdom and the ruler of the Crystal Empire on stage at once would be truly a special event!"

Twilight made various nonverbal squeaking sounds. Page Turner leaned over and draped an arm around the alicorn's neck as she spoke on her behalf. "Celestia. She'd be honored!"

The first drawing I started during my recent dance themed Picarto stream, and this is the story that popped into my head as I working on the piece.
