Despite their technological advancements, there exist those amongst dragonkin that practice the arcane
in a manner so pure and primal it has been abandoned and deemed obsolete by many of their brethren.
However, those that are proficient in these covert arts know to weave the very fabric of the universe itself.
While a hammer will always be a hammer, magic is a formless tool that may be shaped in any way the wielder sees fit.
They become the conduit; the catalyst for unfathomable possibilities that no invention
made from wood, stone or steel will ever be able to recreate.
Entropy - often labeled as chaos magic by the uneducated - is but one of the five main sources of power
that those attuned to its essence may draw from, its mastery tied to a lifetime of careful study and practice.
It is amongst the duties of the High Lord of Entiras to ensure that the tomes containing this ancient knowledge
do not fall into the wrong hands, for the wisdom contained within them is as dangerous as it is wondrous.
Luckily, Avarius is well versed in the ways of the arcane, and thus, his vigil stands unbroken.
A circumstance he intends to uphold.
Magic is a very special thing in my world. It is not incredibly common to come by, and although anyone could theoretically learn it,
it requires a lot of time and dedication to do so.
Thus, many do not bother with it, for many of its effects can be recreated
by tools and trinkets that harness that very energy to achieve certain goals.
Still, some, such as Avarius, do practice the arcane, and it allows them to do some really fancy things!
