Taken durring the bird show at the LA Zoo. I don't know what kind of raptor this is XD I didn't do all that well with this shot =X The background is REALLY bad XD Thankfully I didn't actually blow out any part of the picture. I had little control over where I was set up =X Maybe next time, now that I know how they run the show, I can do a better job =) Scrapward bound, lol.
What I did: Vivid camera calibration, auto white balance, threshold white balance trick with 50% grey trick, custom masked levels to bring out the detail on the neck feathers, unsharp mask (150%, 0.2, 0)
