I absolutely love the way her art style looks, and it's doubly cool that I feel like Whisper kinda fits in with it so seamlessly. Phenomenal artist, highly recommend checking out their stuffs. And look at my big-eared boyo! He looks so good! Aaaa! Anyway, this is Whisper. I slightly adjusted his lore from what I wrote on his ref sheet but I dunno how to edit posts lmao; I learned of the existence of a Finnish mythological creature called the tulikettu, which is apparently a fox with fur the color of the night sky with an aurora in its tail, and when it runs through the forest and its tail catches on the branches, it splashes the aurora off of it and into the night sky, causing the aurora borealis.

And the visual design sounded like Whisper almost identically, which was kinda cool. But I made Whisper before I knew this myth was even a thing, so I kinda wanted to make a nod to it since I learned of it and it was awesome and eerily close to my idea for Whisper lol; so Whisper is now fully just a Demon (a Demon of Aurorae, specifically), and when he was choosing his mortal visage, he decided to copy the story of the tulikettu, but because he has the soul of his best friend inside his body, too, and Somnus is a Demon of Sloth with specific ties to music (hence the dal Segno demon sigil in place of Whisper's left eye, since he lost that eye anyway so Somnus stores his soul there), Whisper's visage took on the same form but as a fennec fox instead. I figure big ears, music, hypersensitive hearing, it kinda fits lol; I made him a fennec in the first place for a similar reason anyway.
