A squirrel I doodled in my Abnormal Psychology class. I was going for an old-timey black-and-white cartoon feel for this character... not sure if I caught that feel exactly, but I was happy with the outcome. I was trying to decide if the character should be male or female, and decided that it looked like a male to me. As a result, when I showed friends, we had a debate over whether it was male or female (just about everyone else insisted it was female) and it ended with me saying that I was the artist and thus my word of its gender was final... Then they countered with "well, an artists work is up for interpretation." :/ Damn them and their logic.
