Apparently in the original ending of Godzilla 2000: Millennium, Orga managed it just fine. Apparently Toho changed the ending as Godzilla died in the 1998 film, they didn't want Godzilla dying in three films, that being Godzilla Versus Destroyah 1995, Godzilla 1998, and 2000: Millennium, so they changed it to what we got.
That's actually really neat to learn of. While I'm happy with what we got in the film, it still would have been awesome to see. Could have been like an alternate/original ending for the dvd extras menu, like what they did with versus Biollante. She got to swallow Godzilla in that one after he succumed to the ANEB, then teleported off to space.
It would have, and I did not know about that ending of Godzilla Versus Biollante at all, though thinking back on it, I could see hat there might of been a different ending with the way the editing was done after Godzilla began to be effected by the bacteria. Huh, interesting that there was two films were Godzilla was nearly vored. Thank you for sharing that, love learning behind the scenes details like that, awesome.
