Based on an old classic, Fieldmarshal Tacki, overall army commander enjoys the "privilege" of getting his diaper changed in the heat of battle. We wouldn’t want the General to be distracted by something silly like mushy pants!
Of course, the good general must multi-task a little bit. It wouldn’t do to keep an aide-de-camp or courier waiting for orders. And, although the guard regiment is supposed to screen the army commander during these brief respites, there’s not much to stop them from sneaking a curious glance from time to time… as long as they don’t get caught!
Featuring Tacki, my goatmom Nan, and a few other random characters unrelated to anyone else.

The idea for this pic was based on this black and white drawing I saw of Napoleon getting a wound treated while his troops screened him from projectiles. I imagine this particular square formation is for screening Tacki from projectiles and the eyeballs of the troopers under his command. It's not an "actual" square formation of course, meant to repel some kind of demon cavalry. It would be two or three ranks in that case with the soldiers kneeling in the front... bayonets at the ready.
I'll have to depict that sometime. =P

Most of the common soldiers need to wait quite a bit before given the opportunity for a change. Many times, troops have ended up having to fight in leaky pants. The minute a battalion has a moment where they don't have to repel the enemy, it's buddy change time.
