Because that's just what you do to cute things. You poke them. I'm pretty sure my dog gets a poke on the nose every time I walk past her. It's amazing she hasn't just bitten off my fingers yet. xD
So here's Ru, giving raptorfluff a poke on the nose. He seems rather mystified by said poking.
Just another quick doodle as all of them I've been doing lately have been, but I like this one a fair bit more than the last. Though there's tons of issues, everything I don't spend ages fixing up has tons of them, I think my favorite part is the expressions. They just worked out, heh.
Lemme know your thoughts, fluff fans. :P

I want one!
And yes, your expressions make the piece, as they often do. You're going to keep teasing us with sketches of Raptorfluff so that next time you open commission slots you get 10 commissioners asking you to do full color pictures of him aren't you?
Teasing, of course, but you know that's what'll happen at this rate.

That's funny. I actually took your "how to draw like ru" sketches and made some attempts at replicating the results with a friend's graphics tablet, with varying degrees of success.
What I'm getting at though, is for me, the defined anatomy was WAY easier to replicate than the areas where you tend to just go "FLUFFY BITS!!!" and have lots of weird lines and undefined fluff. I couldn't replicate that at all, lol. So I'd probably go mad if I tried to draw raptorfluff.

Hrm, interesting. I always assumed fluff would be easy to draw since there's not much too it, it's practically just scribbles all over the place. Maybe I'm just a naturally gifted fluff drawer. x3 It seems to come at the price of failing at actually defined anatomy, but everyone seems to love fluff so I can deal. xD
Mine really seems to hate being rolled into her back. She's extremely passive so she doesn't do much about it, but she looks like you've just betrayed her in some terrible way if you forcibly roll her over and pat her belly. x3 I think she'd prefer the nose bop just as the lesser of two evils.
