Haru grew up in one of the wealthiest families in Blossom City, his father served in the samurai legion, leaving Haru’s mother to watch over him and his younger brother, Kōji. The two grew a flamboyant and fancy personality whilst being raised by her leading to them being frequently bullied until Haru met Tatsuo Watanabe & Masashi Sasaki, who would become his best friends. When Haru’s father claimed the throne after the Watanabe’s stepped down Haru began researching political science at the local library in hopes of becoming a strong leader just like his father. Unfortunately, a mugging occurred outside the wealthier districts of Blossom City which resulted in his father’s death. Haru’s mother refused to rule and thus gave the opportunity to Haru where his surprisingly strong role as emperor has put Blossom City in an even stronger position.
