Animaniacs various poses
Some works from early 2021. I was pretty active in the Animaniacs fandom at the time, and I had the idea to create some sort of tutorial to show the construction of cartoon characters using Warners as an example.
Yakko is presented in a more simple and steady pose, Dot is presented in two more unusual poses, and Wakko is presented as sort of inverted from biped to quadruped for fun, but still without a dramatic change in his anatomy. To demonstrate how flexible these characters are in general.
Sadly, I encountered basically the same problem as with those Meowths that I talked about here. Being a traditional artist at the time, taking the next steps step by step became too difficult.
And while this time I actually tried to turn it into pure digital, hoping that I could take the next steps this way - without a Cintiq, that process became almost a torture, because what I would do in an hour or less using my current tablet now, took many, many hours back then and looked pretty avarage for that matter. So I easily lost my motivation. Yakko and one Dot are the only ones I managed to finish, but I never moved forward.
I kind of hoped I'd be able to make this tutorial later, but at this point I already think probably not. Again, like with the Meowths, I would have rather drawn this all from scratch if I had that motivation back instead of finishing such old stuff. However, these are still pretty good drawings for their time, so I'm sharing them as is at last!
And here you can also see those cleaned up and colored versions of Yakko and Dot > https://www.furaffinity.net/view/61985345/
