Nollins, the third son of of the rather wealthy Nestwick family (behind Tolliver and Royson, respectively). Rather than following along in the family business, however, Nollins found himself feeling extremely dissatisfied with the rest of his family and especially the way they tended to treat other people, and so in his early twenties he swore them off and left the fold, deciding to forge his own path. He struggled, and it's been a battle to resist the temptations of leveraging old family connections to get a leg up, but some of the tools he learned while growing up have come in handy. Now that the profile of the musical group Ivory Kiss--his anonymous collaborative project with his very secretive musical partner--has been growing, it's giving him a little more of a cushion to lean into his passions. But with notoriety comes new risks...

Nollins tries to pass himself off most of the time as a bit moody and dry, but he really is rather sensitive-hearted behind the shell and it's very natural for him to lean into trying to do what's best and most respectful for others, sometimes to his own detriment. In a way, it makes the defection from the Nestwicks all the more surprising.
