Here's a classic I made during the heat of the summer! One of my favorites redone in 3D! Still a fun render with a lot of work, and thankful for the original for inspiring a 3D version of it.

Original Description From DeviantArt:
Crash Bandicoot blasts through many moments of time, ending in the Land Before Marsupials! Looking around in the land of dinosaurs, volcanoes and just about anything out to eat you. However, he makes a gigantic friend greeting a large scaly sole. I suppose greetings and interactions are a little different here.
Feeling a little stompy inspired? Well I certainly was feeling a little, when thinking of this piece of art I saw years ago. I was thinking of what to create, when this popped into mind. So I got started, and what transpired was a long few days of working on this. I knew the task was daunting, but I wish I knew exactly how. Creating a comic even when I did have the blueprints of the original proved to be difficult for me. Considering that I have not made a comic with moving parts before.
My journey through SFM has been a bumpy roller-coaster, but this is more rickety and wobbly than the tracks before. After working on this for the past few days. I am pleased with myself to have made a comic... sort of. It's still off the original with some added bits and details, but I believe maintains the core it was inspired from. Only this is in the realm of a 3D environment.
I also learned a little from fonts, I did my best to replicate them. A site saved my tail here! Known as TextStudio which you see being used. They were a little lacking in quality, but I found it charming. Reminding me of the Original Trilogy.

Thank you to the models ported to SFM and Valve for their engine.
Last, but not least want to thank Grang34 on Fur Affinity. Goes by Grng34 here on DeviantArt for drawing the original and is the sole reason for this. I recommend checking out the original comic, and checking out their other uploads. They got a lot of solid uploads. Thank you to them.

I am kicking myself over this one, I should've and could've used this to build the scene with these assets. The only issue is, I saw them too late. Maybe that'll be something to do, redo them with these assets from the game at some point. So here, in case anyone is interested.

Would you look at that! This is a really impressive and faithful recreation I'm honoured somebody would be so inspired by my artwork, truly :) Thank you not only for your kind words about the original but also for your hard work here, it really shows! (Now if only we could have seen more stompy rex feet action in the actual game itself so that cool model wasn't as wasted by the devs lol!)
Thank you! I recalled seeing this years ago and loving it, along so much of your other art work. You never know who you may inspire, just may surprise you. :) I should be thanking you, and yes it was surprisingly a lot of effort, happy to have someone notice. Even comics in 3D are very high effort, I appreciate art more than I did before of all mediums.
Oh to see more action with Rex's stompy feet would've been a delight! The models were very well done and they're details you never really see unless you pay attention. For example, the Rex's feet have swirl designs on the soles. That's something you would never see in game... which I wish we did see now. Lots of love in these models that's so cool.

Oh that's very interesting usually developers avoid adding details in places players cant ever see to save on time and cost. Makes you wonder if the devs would've wanted to use Rex more in other ways if they weren't on a time crunch by big bad activision!
I hope more people will discover and appreciate your content though we need more crwatice people who actually want to commit time to their craft these days when people are getting lazier and more reliant on auto-generation!

I am just extra thankful to the people that made those models with love. You know they care when they put details that only ever a tiny amount of people will see. Maybe the Rex had more to them, but as you stated, crunch and making the release date.
Thank you for your kind words. It's a shame, but the rise of generated art via artificial intelligence has left many to skip the biggest steps of creation. Instant gratification and beautiful strokes on a canvas are a simple key presses and click away. It really is sad to see art lacking the heart, effort and vision. :(

(*Apologies for the big typo in my last reply lol I meant "creative"!)
That last part is definitely true, and to be brutally honest it's been a huge demotivating factor in my own art production lately. I don't really have the energy or the time to compete with something that can be spewed out in a millisecond when it might take me a week to draw something much simpler, especially when people keep flocking to those other pictures giving them relevance but won't pay any attention to something real, or worse; will complain that real artists aren't doing enough to prove themselves lol but hey all the more power to you if you can keep ok standing up to it and making original content!!
