This scene still breaks my heart when Aleu swims over to the pack, the music starts and Balto remembers Aleu's whole life from being a cute little puppy to the beautiful girl she was now.
And the most touching thing is, that Balto AND the viewer realizes, that this is the final farewell and Balto will never see his daughter again and so does Jenna who is still waiting at home for BOTH of them to come home.
But at the same time, we are all happy, that Aleu found a home where she is accepted like how she is.
