Inside the belly wasn’t much better. The little creatures inside squirmed and cried out for help that wouldn’t come. After all who could stop the great Kitsune, who would defy a god?
His belly worked like any other material being’s belly would. The acid was thick, cloying, it stung to touch and it began to melt anything it came into contact with. Already the belly was becoming crowded and Kitsune hadn’t even really begun his rampage properly yet.
“Help us!!”
“Get us out!”
“Now I know what actually being a peanut feels like!”
But all of their jabs, clever catchphrases, cries for help would fade in time. Already the thick gurgling of the belly was starting to overtake them...
