Family: Centrosaur Pachyrhinosaurin
Scientific Name: Lapisfaciesaurus
Local Name: Stanecreb-Dracaroc "Stone Face-Dragon"
Size: Cows reach up to 34 tall and 60 feet long, with bulls being at 45 feet tall and 80 feet long, though apex bulls are known to be 95 feet long and 55 feet tall. The weight of these animals range in between 25 to 40 tons.
Speed: Sprint speed is 30 mph, but can jog at 16 mph.
Lifespan: 160-220 years, depending on the health of the animal.
Diet: Herbivorous, they feed on grass, brush and small trees.
Social/Parenting: Bulls live alone while cows live in herds of 8-12 cows with young. Young males stay together in bachelor herds until they are 20 years when they're mostly immune to most predation once they reach 40 feet long. Bulls are very nomadic, fighting other males, sometimes to the death of sight. The females don't conflict with each other, herding to stay together for protection against all predators, with only the apex predators being able to hunt them with any confidence.
Habitats and locales: The species lives in prairies and open woodlands in North America, with 2 subspecies in Asia.
Conflicts: The biggest predators these animals face is the Dzoavits and another, yet to be described apexes in Asia. This species is not domesticated, so it is currently treated as a huntable species, along with being driven off, being viewed as pests for farmers. Though with farming communities that have large domesticated carnivores, they will also hunt some members of a herd to drive them off.
Unique adaptations: While a good portion of the ceratopsian family has more parrot bills, these ceratopsians and others related have bills that are flattened side to side at the front to graze from grass, making plant life easier to consume, especially grass.
