Aurora hiked the entire day for this view, putting her snow leopard attributes to the test, leaving the designated trails and scaling the cliff sides to find the perfect vantage point. All for this moment. Standing on the cliffs edge, she patiently waited for the sun to set and the magic of the northern lights to begin. Their silent dance rippling and swirling across their midnight stage, the twinkling stars their audience.
Despite the silence her heart was filled with the voices of the past. It does not matter how many times she sees her namesake, she will forever been astounded by the beauty and wonder of the Aurora borealis.
