Something way out of left field, but here's a gift I made for one of my close friends that I've known for practically my whole life, to the point I think we were born in the same hospital two weeks apart over 23 years ago. Said friend can recite entire episodes of SpongeBob from memory, so I thought I would make fanart of the show for him. While I have a love-hate relationship with painting over color pencils, I've already made paintings for other friends in the past, so it felt fitting for him to deserve one as well.

Whenever I went to an art store, I found a packet of four 3 x 3 inch canvases, and the idea flashbanged itself into my head. From there, I practiced from the actual scene and drawing SpongeBob in general, which felt pretty nice, as I haven't drawn the little square dude in probably over a decade. Then as I usually do with paintings, I draw out the design with sharpie on canvas, paint over it all, and after a really long time, hot glued it all together to be a cube.
