Irraforms are small pinkish purple creatures from the video game: Crimson Dragon.
They swarm in groups and fly wildly. Appearing only during the forest level, their only attack appearing to ram the player.

These creatures actually have no mention of their name, however, in the unreleased Xbox 360 kinect game, they drop food under the name Irraform.
This particular picture I made the wings up. The size was increased by x5 for easier viewing!
