Story
"Ferwyl!" Amendelwyr screamed as she dove after the traitor! Her mind whirling with rage for the theft of her little ones. Her children. Her precious little ones. Her wings beat quickly, stretched to their limits with every rush of wind she caused.
The green scaled dragon cackled madly. His bloodshot yellow-green eyes glancing back at The Skywarden as his wings swung through the mountain range. His claws clutching at the cage that held his prize. "They'll reward me. They'll give me all that I desire. Ripping away at what you call safety, showing you your weakness, Amendelwyr! Ahahaha! While I lavish in pleasantries for the rest of my days. You Guardians will suffer the Prince's wrath. They'll begin by telling every fallen warrior that you lied to them. Just like you lied to me!" Ferwyl cackled again and curved around the corner, fleeing to the smoky peaks of Fire's Teeth.
Amendelwyr spat another fireball and condensed it with her essence to explode near the crazed dragon, trying to throw him off course. But she couldn't harm him directly, for fear of hurting her own hatchlings.
But her mind was drowned in the fear, the anger, the sudden agony of her little ones being taken. She wouldn't let Ferwyl take her children, much less let them be used as bargaining tools for what was clearly a lie. She knew that he'd been mislead, a fool that was now a pawn of the great enemy. And they would just as quickly turn on their promises.
She kept her wings higher than Ferwyl's so that she could close the distance. But the smoke came. The telltale sign of noxious fumes from deep within the earth hissed and spattered. Her scales felt the waves of heat from the exposed lava that oozed and drooled from the peaks. A hot flash of air whirled up into her wings and she had to angle more carefully not to throw her advantage off balance.
She was catching up. Already, she could hear the other dragon panting from the heavy pace they'd kept up. She felt her lungs burning from the sulfurous air, but she wouldn't stop. So close... She inhaled and drew her magic together for a powerful blast of fire, tightening the jet of energetic flames as she exhaled it directly for Ferwyl's left wing.
Ferwyl roared out in pain and his body abruptly slammed into the mountainside as his wing curled in. "Aah!" He tried to correct his flight-path, but the tighter curvature from his left wing led him into an unsteady and slower path, crashing his tail into a bit of magmatic rock that hissed and smoldered when he drifted away.
Amendelwyr's wings tightened as she rode her angle of attack straight in front of Ferwyl's. Her claws raked down his back while her wings braked. She clutched his horn, bit down on his neck, and tugged his head into a vicious twist. The two of them crashed through some black rock formations. And with her other claws, she quickly grabbed the cage which held her children, tearing it away from the traitor's own grip.
Ferwyl roared out as Amendelwyr's rear legs kicked him away and her wings rose away from the river of fire below. The green dragon screamed as he lost control and fell away.
Amendelwyr's eyes wept as she frantically looked into the cage. Her heart beating loudly in her ears and along her frill. Pain dully prodded at her body from burns, cuts, and acids from Ferwyl's tainted blood. Five tiny pairs of eyes peered out at their mother. Afraid and wet with tears, coughing, but safe now. . . She let her own tears flow, overcome with the swing of emotions from fury to relief.

Who indeed? It must be someone of ultimate evil. A force, perhaps even invaders, that sees such preciousness and wonderful light. Only by squashing it, can their forces completely overwhelm the defenders. . .
The demons from before. She has known them from long ago.
And they'd returned to finish off the last of the Guardians that would hope to oppose them.
