Hello!

Let me present You my new Ikran character, Milena! Since the release of "Avatar The Way of Water", I've wanted such a character and  Moonski did incredible work to bring her to life! I'm so impressed and happy how Milena turned out. It is excellent interpretation of a magpie colors on a fantasy creature, better than I could have imagined! Hats off Moonski! <3

Dislikes: Disturbing her sleep, prodding at her scars, and loud and sudden noises. Overconfident and arrogant Na’vi.

Milena (as she’s known now) is a female Ikran living in the territory of the Kekunan Clan in the vast tropical forest of Pandora. She usually spent most of her time nesting in the floating mountains and went to the nearby rivers to hunt fish, which made up a significant part of her diet, though she also ate local fruits and seeds. Sometimes, she hunted bigger prey during the night, and her monochromatic coloration helped to blend in with the surroundings, fooling the prey.

Many Kekunan Clan members had tried to bond with her in the past, but she usually backed off from confrontation or bested them in melee if she had no other choice. Tho, she never went for the kill on the hunters taking part in the ritual, so the unlucky Na’vi came back with some bruises or scratches at most. She became the symbol of the unrelentless will of Ikrans and a teacher who humbled overconfident warriors during the ritual of passage. It was said that only the most worthy warrior might have been honoured to create a life-long bond with her.

Things had changed when the RDA arrived on Pandora the second time, extending the area of operations further. Soon, the Kekunan Clan began skirmishes against the RDA military forces and committed acts of sabotage against infrastructure. The human civilians haven’t been well-treated either, as they got stuck between two sides waging war and the company demanding more quotas to fulfil. Some of them began disappearing from RDA-controlled settlements and tried their luck with the Na’vi side. The Kekunan Clan welcomed some of them, thanks to their skills proving to be useful, and their hearts were not tainted.

One day, the RDA attacked the Ikran nesting grounds in the Kekunan territory, killing dozens of these magnificent creatures. Fortunately, Milena survived the attack at the cost of scars tainting her whole body, torn wings, and a cut off kuru. It was unclear if the last remaining kuru would still be able to form a bond like the Na’vi do with their Ikrans. However, a different but beautiful bond began between Milena and a man who was tending her wounds soon after the attack.

Milena grew quite fond of him during her recovery as he always had her well-being at the forefront of his mind. He had kept her fed and watered, applied more soothing balsams to ease the pain, and healed the battered body. Plus, he may have earned some points by bringing her sweet Ikran treats made of sunrise lantern dew and fruits. It turned out it was her favourite. She couldn’t get tired of his hands, rubbing the itching spots just right. After spending so much time together, he named her Milena. The name is of the old Slavic origin, which meant the kindest. It felt more personal and fitting than just “night queen,” as the Na’vi called her.

Eventually, she recovered fully but refused to leave the man’s side, always following him around or staying nearby. It baffled many of Kekunan’s people, challenging their beliefs. How could one of the Sky People have been blessed with such a bond when other Na’vi couldn’t? Milena made her intention clear when she brought her last kuru to him, letting the tip rest in his hand. The kuru’s tendrils intertwined with his hand gently. Then their first flight happened.

With the Kekunan Clan’s help, Milena and the man become one in the air, proving to be excellent scouts and ambushers, making RDA regret what they did on that fateful night at the Ikran nest.
