This is a slightly-cropped still-life I made in school this past semester. All of our are speed-drawings made in about 20 minutes with charcoal pastels and are large-format pieces. This one, for example, is actually at or a little over two feet tall. Since the photo I took was a bit crooked I cropped it a little. I wish I had a scanner big enough for this, haha.
The subject was an old coffee maker from the 1970s or so, and we had 15-20mins to do the best we could. This was mine, and I think it was also posted with Art in the Sky, where they hang student artwork in Rochester, Minnesota's skyways.
Sorry for the graininess, but my camera isn't the best. Might scrap later.
Charcoal pastels (black, medium grey, white) on large paper. Originally made in March, I think.

Ditto , I love both sweet teat ( I realize I spelled it sweat in the other comment ...eww) and hot tea and the only time I can stomach coffee is when I need energy and there is no soda around. I felt very out of place when in elementary school my class went to Washington DC ...we went into a restaurant and they did not serve sweet tea.. we were like ..seriously !? o0 and the waitress looked at us like we were weird. XD It was so odd because we were from NC and it was just odd how close we were to DC and apparently the " sweet tea line" cuts off up there. oooh im rambling now I had better stop XD
