Silesian Planetarium for 60 years had the ZEISS Planetarium projector (fully analog, with huge light bulbs inside each of the projecting spheres full of lenses).
If you ever wonder how the control panel for it looks like, you can find it on the current exhibition. Planetarium has now new hybrid projecting system. The Zeiss projector (located in the middle, shown on my other photo) is functional and still can be controlled from this panel.
Just imagine to use that in complete darkness without any light... everything you touch had to be learned beforehand - the trainings took at least half a year.
