Since the very beginning I knew that Emmet had a predilection for trash diving. Even before he was an anthro wombat I had him digging through people's refuse.
What's changed is he now has a ferret to do most of the actual diving. Look at it this way: it's not making Sully smell any worse.
Whatever doohickey Sully's found, it's got the Boss on the verge of acting up. You'd be amazed at the things people throw out. It almost makes venturing out into this wretched daylight worth it.
