Or both! go with your scheme! and run over a few soldiers! bodies splattering this way and that, melee is always fun! and gets a good complection on your armour! *chuckles insanly* but yah, red, with some accent..hmm, a ribbon of silver along joints and various tasteful accents, and yellow? bands..or..*shrugs* just enjoying ideas in my head, enjoy your own color ideas
Do you remember in an episode of Patlabor how one pilot improved her interrelations between her machine and improved her piloting skills by playing "Cats Cradle" with her giant Police Robot? I thought that was a nice touch. One day I want to draw giant battle robots playing Rugby!
Such games even if simple are incredibly handy for improving pilots skills; Newtypes in Gundam are discovered and trained with a sort of 360° videogame, where they have to target pulsing dots from when they appear, keep them in sight while they move, until they vanish, to then prepare to target new faster ones (newtypes can do it also without looking at them, simply with the perceptions)... About the last thing, indeed one time in an anime i seen mechas (not unmanned, but with pilot) playing table-tennis and a marathon (The anime was "Full Metal Panic", really great)... Lately i'm in mecha design mood too, Last time i made and posted some too (as i always do sometimes, but lately more XD), and i'm planning to do a sort of sci-fi medieval one, taking as sample two ones i seen in Super Robot Taisen Alpha 3 (Mecha videogame very famous)... Shurely not like yours, but at least i'm training for ^^
Yeah. I can see your tactical advantage there. You know? I've always wanted to build a model of a big mecha holding an Attack Helicoptor by the rotor and looking into the cockpit with the expression, "And you're going to 'Pop n' Drop' WHOM?" someplace. Good for a chuckle, but not technically feasable,
I need to recall where or who has the book, which was that of a parody book of FASA Battletech/Mechwarrior, only it dealt with an intergalatic war between scalies and furries settled by playing baseball. I looked though it once and noticed that I knew some of the artists whose work was in it.
Hmmmm, wasn't exactly thinking manure when I said "Small logs and kindling." But, that works too, I suppose, hehe.
Yeah, the Marauder is always a fun 'mech. I think my fond memories come from the first Mechwarrior game, the one for DOS, when I had a small lance of them.
... Great, now you have a really bad image stuck in my head, a Quanage ordering a large meal from the Gulp 'n' Go saying "... and twelve bean burritos. I need to get from here to Io." to a cashier wearing a WWI style gas mask.
