Mascarpone and Blueberries Dessert
In keeping with the family’s dietary preferences, wuffy decided to create a simple but rich & flavorful dessert. Fresh blueberries are the star in this, but it will work equally well with grapes, strawberries, sliced peaches, etc.
Don’t let the simple ingredients and prep fool you; this is a delightful treat, and a full quart of blueberries disappeared in minutes!
The mascarpone cheese elevates the traditional “berries & cream” to something richer and more decadent, with just a touch of cheesy tang to add complexity.
You can adjust the amounts of cream, vanilla, and sugar to adjust the thickness of the sauce and its flavors to your preferences.
INGREDIENTS:
1 Qt fresh Berries (Blueberries)
6oz Mascarpone Cheese
1/3 C Heavy Cream
1 tsp Vanilla
1 TBS Sugar
DIRECTIONS:
In a large bowl, combine the berries and the mascarpone. Add cream to thin the mixture
Drizzle the vanilla and sugar over the top and mix in thoroughly
Cover and chill until ready to serve

just...would you pls clarify the meanings of qt and c? I know oz is ounces, I assume you mean the ones that measure weight instead of volume, so 28,35g each - so, 170g of Mascarpone.
qt could refer to quart, but that's odd since it's a) a measurement of volume and b) can be very different... 1 quart can be either ~1,137 liters or ~0,946 liters or ~0,948 liters. Just measuring somethings that's not fluid in volume is very odd to me. When si buy blueberries, they're always always sold by weight, never by volune... no idea how much I might need.
But I have no clue of c, only know that as the speed of light...

Our market sells berries in small plastic tubs. They're labeled as Quart or Pint size, and sometimes half-pint. For the berries, they weighed in at 18 oz, or just a bit over 500 grams
C in this case refers to Cup, liquid volume.
The mascarpone container was marked as 8 oz, 226g. I used up about 3/4 of the container, so I estimated 6oz, or about 170g.
Hope this clarifies things. Sorry for the confusion.
