"- Shut up, you chicken, just shut up!" – another cry, full of sorrow, added to the hellish cacophony produced by the unique vocalist.
A young male Fisher was swaying on a thin branch of a tall tree, the only truly old cypress, which he adored climbing at dusk. Why? For what reason? No one could understand the beast's delicate soul, yearning for freedom high in the skies, but everyone for three villages around could perfectly hear the sufferings of the yalan stuck on its perch.
Several times, the local men had gathered at night to harpoon the nuisance and finally put an end to the concerts by drowning this natural talent in a pot of soup. And every time, startled by the loud crack of branches and their sticks, a Fisher of rare beauty would fall onto their heads. Its elongated muzzle always bore a look of guilty surprise. The leathery growths glowed red and yellow even in the dark, reminiscent of a sun drowned in a carafe of sangria. Any songstress would envy its rich feathery ruff, and even capital city theatergoers would envy its acting talent. Finding itself on the ground before the furious men, the yalan would sway and bow low, gracefully stretching one of its legs forward. After this strange performance, the beast would flee in terror into the darkness.
And today, listening to yet another serenade, the villagers firmly decided to find that rare connoisseur of curiosities who would take the Fisher away and grant them peace. Perhaps, dear traveler, you are the unlucky collector? SB: 20$
