Day 323 - August 23rd, 2741

A few days away from Paradise. Traversing this sand is slow even for a vehicle, but then again we were mostly off the road. The sand dunes have levelled out into the plains this area got its namesake from.

I'll be landing in a trading town nearby Paradise called Blue Water Refuge. It is under the control of Paradise, but its outside the main city itself. Once there, I should meet Aqua.

In the meantime, Cpt. Cornell has been sharing unclassified info of past operations in Paradise, showing what to expect, and how some of these have failed.

Of the failures, most of them overstayed their welcome. They took too long to complete their mission and got discovered. Someone intercepting their comm signals, or the target found out. Lots of people fleeing STEEL end up here it seems. So long as they pony up the credits.

On other works, eyes and ears everywhere. Other failures came when they starting asking questions, and prying in places they shouldn't, and someone ratted them out.

The ones that were successful, were in and out quickly, and knew how to hide in plain sight here. One managed to secure a guard uniform, another acted like a beggar. So it looks like when I get inside, I'll need to find something to disguise myself with.
