Just a quick POV story of you celebrating your favorite month.
Bigger. Rounder. Higher.
The hose is planted firmly in your mouth. You won’t let it go. You can’t. Hissing air fills your ears. It’s all you can hear. All you can focus on. All flowing from the tank into its awaiting destination.
Into you.
A chill runs through your body. Your cheeks puff outwards like a pair of balloons. You suck the air down with glee. Gulp after gulp of chilled air. It slides down your throat and into your waiting gut. Your belly starts to feel a bit tight. Swollen, even. It slowly starts to push outward, poking out of the bottom of your top. Filling up like a balloon.
It’s wonderful. Sensitive. Tight. Almost exactly how you wanted it to be. Almost. You wanted more. To be tighter. Bigger. You smile with the hose in your lips: Soon. You gingerly rub your swelling belly as it pushes past your waistline and partially beyond your top. Your gut soon swells to the size and shape of a small ball, noticeably stretching your top.
Thwip!
The button from your pants flies off, landing somewhere beyond your vision. Perfect. Less constraints meant more smooth swelling. More room to grow. Your belly rapidly balloons to the size of a basketball. It just out well past your shirt at this point. Your skin is stretched tight, but there’s still plenty of give. Just like a balloon.
A gentle breeze blows across your distended middle. It sent shivers throughout your entire body. It feels incredible. But you know it could be better. All you needed was to be bigger. A loud, metallic creak rings out as you loosen the valve further. The air flow quickens. You gulp it all down with glee. Your belly balloons outward even faster. Tighter and fuller with each passing second.
Your belly stretches out a few feet in front of you. It looks like a giant beach ball extending from your middle. It’s so massive. So light. So full. You widen your stance to balance a bit better against your bountiful, ballooned belly. The extra pressure from your body pressing against your gut feels wonderful.
A similar tightness grows in your chest. You look down. While your belly fills most of your vision, your chest starts to inflate outwards as well. It uncomfortably stretches your top. The more air you gulp, the bigger and tighter your chest gets. It doesn’t take long before your chest blows up enough to match with your belly; your front takes on a much more rounded shape at this point.
You try to squeeze your ballooning chest, to let it blow up against your hands. But you can barely move your arms. All of the excess air rushing into you has caused them to turn stiff. They force themselves out to your sides. Same with your legs. You can’t move or bend them. Most would be concerned about losing that motion. But not you. All you can think about is getting bigger. All you care about is becoming the best balloon in the sky.
Your back begins to stretch and swell outwards as well. It grows even faster than your belly and chest. Soon enough, your body takes on a nearly completely rounded shape. Your swelling orb of a body starts to engulf your stiff limbs; they become nothing more than tiny dimples in your ballooned figure. You can’t tell how big you are, but you feel massive. To an outside observer, you look just like a six foot round beach ball. Only your head can really be seen sticking out from your blimped body.
Despite being so huge and round, you feel extremely light. Exactly what you were expecting. As your body grows another foot in diameter, you notice that you can no longer feel the ground beneath you. This is what you were waiting for. You were finally floating. Floating just like a balloon.
You rise higher and higher. The only thing tethering you to the ground being the hose attached to the air tank. But you don’t want to be tethered; you want to be free. At eight feet round, you are nothing more than a giant balloon. All you want is to float away like a balloon in the wind. You spit the hose out, letting it fall listlessly to the earth beneath you.
And you start to rise. Higher and higher. Floating away into the sky. Higher than the treeline. Soon to be among the clouds. Just a giant, floating balloon. The clear blue skies surround you. In the distance, you spot others floating. Some bigger, some smaller than you. But all just as much of a balloon as you.
