I've drawn a few of these guys recently in my sketchbook but wanted to make something properly,, love this guy:)
The name Microraptor means 'small theif' which is fun. The fossils where you can actually see the imprints of their feathers are so cool to me. And the fact that they found evidence of them being black and shiny - kind of like magpie feathers - really got me interested in drawing them.
They got verrry close to becoming my favourite. They'll never surpass Ankylosaurus though (goat)
Edit : I can't manage to change the thumbnail background to be black :(((((
